Function of 99% Ketoconazole powder:
This product is an imidazole antifungal drug. It has bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects on skin fungi, yeasts (Candida, Pityrosporum, Coccus, Cryptococcus), biphasic fungi and fungi. Molds, Sporothrix shenke, some Dumbosporaceae, and Mucor are less effective. The main mechanism of action of this product is to selectively interfere with the activity of cytochrome P-450 in fungi, thereby inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol on the fungal cell membrane.
