Ingested fucoxanthin is hydrolyzed into fucoxanthin by digestive enzymes (such as lipase and cholesterol esterase) in the gastrointestinal tract, which then enters the systemic circulation through the lymph, and part of the fucoxanthin is degraded in the liver to Amarouciaxanthin A, a Phycoxanthin and Amarou-ciaxanthin A are then further metabolized by enzymatic reactions such as isomerization, dehydrogenation, deacetylation, oxidation and demethylation.

2. Security

Fucoxanthin has no effect on liver, kidney, spleen and gonadal tissue, but can cause hypercholesterolemia. Fucoxanthin was not teratogenic in vitro, and fucoxanthin was not teratogenic in vivo at doses of 500, 1000, and 2000 mg/kg.

3. Stability
