What is GHK-CU Podwer?

GHK‑Cu Powder (Copper Tripeptide‑1 / Blue Copper Peptide) is a blue, water‑soluble lyophilized powder of a 1:1 complex between the tripeptide Gly‑His‑Lys (GHK) and copper(II) ion (Cu²⁺).

GHK‑Cu is a copper complex formed by the tripeptide Glycyl‑L‑Histidyl‑L‑Lysine (GHK) chelating with copper ion (Cu²⁺), CAS No.: 89030‑95‑5. GHK‑Cu naturally exists in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its concentration declines sharply as people age. GHK‑Cu appears as bright blue water‑soluble powder, so it is also widely called Blue Copper Peptide.

Main Applications:

Promotes collagen and elastin production, anti-aging and firming:It activates skin fibroblasts, enhances the synthesis of type I, III, and V collagen and elastin, and thickens the dermis; it diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin laxity and sagging, and enhances skin firmness and plumpness.

Superior repair and wound healing:Accelerates skin barrier repair, Promotes epidermal cell growth and has excellent repairing effects on damaged skin after cosmetic procedures (such as fractional laser and microneedling).

Anti-inflammatory and soothing: Inhibits the release of various inflammatory factors, relieving skin redness, itching, and sensitivity.

Powerful antioxidant:Copper ions are an important component of antioxidant enzymes in the human body, such as superoxide dismutase (SOD). GHK-Cu can scavenge free radicals and protect skin cells from oxidative damage caused by ultraviolet rays and environmental pollution, thereby brightening dull skin tone.

Promote hair growth:It stimulates hair follicles to enlarge and prolongs the hair growth phase, thereby preventing hair loss and promoting thicker hair (its effects are considered similar to minoxidil in some studies, but with fewer side effects).
