Function
Indapamide powder has good effect on mild to moderate essential hypertension. The antihypertensive effect of taking alone is significant, and it is not necessary to add other diuretics. It can be combined with β-blocker.
Application
Indapamide powder has dual diuretic and calcium antagonistic effects. By inhibiting Na+ reabsorption in proximal distal convoluted tubules, indapamide produces diuretic effect, and blocks Ca2+ influx, it has high selectivity on vascular smooth muscle, dilates peripheral small vessels, and produces antihypertensive effect.
