Lurasidone is an atypical antipsychotic drug discovered and developed by Sumitomo Pharmaceuticals. Lurasidone has a unique chemical structure compared to other existing anti-schizophrenia drugs and is believed to have activity on dopamine D2, 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT2A), and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT7) receptors. Function of Lurasidone
