What’s Guaifenesin Powder?
Guaifenesin Powder is a kind of expectorant, also known as guaiacol, methylglyphenylene ether, guaiacol glycerol ether and glycerol guaiacol. After oral administration, it can stimulate the reflex of gastric mucosa, cause the secretion of bronchial mucosal glands, reduce the mucus of phlegm, and make phlegm easy to cough up. It also has the function of disinfection and antisepsis, which can reduce the stench of sputum. It also has the function of antitussive, anticonvulsant and anticonvulsant. It is used for chronic bronchitis with phlegm cough, lung abscess, bronchiectasis and secondary asthma, and is mostly used with other antitussive and antiasthmatic drugs. Guaifenesin can be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and reaches peak blood concentration 1-3 hours later. Most of them are excreted from the intestine, while a small amount is metabolized to glucuronic acid conjugate and rapidly excreted in urine.

Function
