Super Vitamin C Derivatives (VC-IP) Products Are Here!
Application:
Ascorbic tetraisopalmitate (ActiBiso AT) is an oil soluble vitamin C derivative. As a cosmetic ingredient, vitamin C has many functions, including skin lightening, promoting collagen synthesis and inhibiting lipid peroxidation. However, vitamin C is easily oxidized and discolored, so it is difficult to use in cosmetics. Therefore, more stable derivatives have been developed. Vitamin C ethyl ether (ActiBiso VCE), vitamin C magnesium phosphate (ActiBiso MAP), vitamin C sodium phosphate (ActiBiso SAP) and other water-soluble VC derivatives. Oil soluble vitamin C derivatives can be used to ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (ActiBiso AT). It is stable at high temperatures and has good solubility in oil. Ascorbic acid tetraisopalmitate shows excellent transdermal absorption and can be decomposed into free vitamin C in the skin to achieve physiological functions. Ascorbic acid tetraisopalmitate can be widely used in various skin care, beauty and other cosmetics.

Features:
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate is a more stable vitamin C derivative than its precursor. However, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate may discolor under certain conditions. Please handle with the same care as vitamin C.
1. The pH range in the design preparation process shall not be higher than 6.0.
2. It is recommended to use chelating agents in the formula, because chelating agents are very effective in preventing discoloration.
3. Because contact with water may cause the oxidation of ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, add a surfactant stabilizing system with long chain polyoxyethylene to strengthen the interface facial mask.
4. Avoid heating for a long time.
