Indapamide is a white, odorless and tasteless organic substance. Almost insoluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, soluble in ethanol or ethyl acetate, easily soluble in ice bucket, glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in chloroform or ether.


What's function

According to related studies, indapamide is a unique mechanism of action that combines diuretic and direct vascular effects, possibly secondary to calcium channel blockade, and does not appear to increase cholesterol levels.
